We are a tiny home based business brewery on a small Gulf Island, established in the winter of 2016. “Small Batch Ales on a Small Island” is what we believe in. Things have to be done differently on a small Island of 23 sq. km. Mayne Island is on unseeded Coast Salish territories and is governed by the Islands Trust who’s main motto as of the past 30 years is to Serve and Protect. It comes with a model of care for the environment which should be modelled world wide. Over use of ground water resources on an island can result in a dry well or salt water intrusion so it is a great concern to us to honour this precious resource. We also contribute to our small islands community in every way possible. Our family of four plus two part time staff all participate in the breweries success from hand printing swag/packaging, hand bottling/labeling and of course Dad-Michael brewing up 140 litre batches of award winning ales three times weekly. Our tasting room is friendly, tasty and worth a visit.
