There are a number of reasons why we see Nada as a great candidate for the People’s Choice Award. They’ve methodically and rigorously built their community of support through their online campaigns, pop-up markets, and community-based workshops. This support amalgamated in the launch of a $25K crowdfunding campaign where they reached their goal in less than 24 hours. They are targeting a real, important problem in a challenging space, grocery retail, and have seen great success and track record so far.
While tackling their mission of reducing food waste and plastic pollution, they also support 35+ community organizations & non-profits though sales and/or marketing.
