A thriving small business environment is the essence of a community’s character. Lighthouse Mentor Network unites entrepreneurs to form alliances and leverage collective knowledge, thereby fulfilling their dreams of building successful businesses.
Since 2011, Lighthouse has shown how the power of mentoring benefits the greater community. I’ve been asked to share this message at Rotary Clubs, the Whistler Chamber of Commerce, Capilano University – to name a few. In turn, this creates opportunity to impact community through volunteerism for Community Foundation of Whistler, Kathy Barnett Leadership Luncheon and Women’s Enterprise Centre, all carrying commitment to mentorship. I brought Lighthouse’s mentor model to a network of Whistler’s non-profits and recently, introduced the Community Beacon Award for a local non-profit leader to be a part of this season’s mentor program at no cost.
But our video is the true testament with participants sharing the impact in ‘just 1 word’.
